The 11th International Conference on Automation, Control and Robotics Engineering (CACRE 2026) officially opened on 17 August 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The conference brings together researchers, engineers, industry representatives and professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge, present recent research results and discuss emerging developments in automation, control systems and robotics engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CACRE 2026 is co-organized by Nazarbayev University and the Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME), with technical sponsorship from the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Dalian Maritime University. The conference is being held in partnership with the IEEE Kazakhstan Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony marked the beginning of an international platform dedicated to scientific dialogue, professional networking and the exchange of ideas across the fields of automation, intelligent control and robotics. Through its technical sessions and research presentations, CACRE 2026 provides participants with an opportunity to discuss current challenges, share innovative approaches and explore new possibilities for academic and technological collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IEEE Kazakhstan Section was represented at the opening ceremony by Dr. Nurkhat Zhakiyev and Dr. Akzhibek Amirova. Their participation highlighted the Section\u2019s commitment to supporting international scientific cooperation, strengthening Kazakhstan\u2019s presence within the global IEEE community and contributing to the development of advanced engineering and technological research in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holding CACRE 2026 in Astana is an important opportunity to connect Kazakhstan\u2019s academic and professional community with leading international researchers and institutions. The IEEE Kazakhstan Section extends its special congratulations to the Conference General Chair, Dr. Mehdi Bagheri, and the entire organizing committee on the successful opening and excellent organization of CACRE 2026. Their dedication and coordinated efforts have created a valuable environment for meaningful discussions, the development of new professional connections and future joint research initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
