IEEE Kazakhstan Section was pleased to host the General Meeting of IEEE Kazakhstan Section Members with the IEEE Region 8 Leadership at Astana IT University in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the role of IEEE in Kazakhstan, opportunities for academic and professional collaboration, and strategic directions for the future development of the IEEE Kazakhstan Section. The discussions focused on the benefits of IEEE for universities and industry communities, current development plans, and future regional initiatives aimed at strengthening the IEEE presence in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

• Prof. Ljupco Karadzinov, IEEE Region 8 Secretary (North Macedonia)
• Prof. Andrejs Romanovs, IEEE Region 8 Section Vitality and Development Coordinator (Latvia)

Their presence and contributions significantly enriched the discussions and emphasized the importance of international collaboration in advancing engineering, science, and education within the IEEE framework.
