Dr. Didar Yedilkhan, Chair of the IEEE Kazakhstan Section, participated in the IEEE Region 8 Volunteer Leadership Training (R8 VLT 2026), which was hosted by the IEEE Türkiye Section in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The IEEE Region 8 Volunteer Leadership Training brought together IEEE volunteers and leaders from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to strengthen collaboration, exchange experiences, and discuss best practices in volunteer leadership and professional development.

Throughout the event, participants attended interactive sessions focused on effective leadership, volunteer engagement, strategic planning, and enhancing the impact of IEEE activities within local Sections and communities. The program also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering new professional connections and encouraging future international collaboration.

Participation in IEEE Region 8 Volunteer Leadership Training 2026 reflects the IEEE Kazakhstan Section’s commitment to continuous development, knowledge sharing, and strengthening its contribution to the global IEEE community.
