Astana AI Week 2026 brought together leading researchers, technology experts, innovators, industry representatives, and government organizations to explore the latest developments and future directions of artificial intelligence.

The event was jointly organized by Astana IT University, Astana City Akimat, Astana Innovations, IEEE Kazakhstan Section, and QazAI, highlighting Kazakhstan’s growing role as a regional hub for AI research, innovation, and digital transformation.

Held from July 7 to 9, 2026, at Alem.ai in Astana, the program featured keynote speeches from international experts, technical sessions, panel discussions, an AI innovation exhibition, and extensive networking opportunities. Participants also took part in a hackathon addressing practical challenges in industry, smart cities, and healthcare through cutting-edge AI solutions.

Astana AI Week serves as an important platform for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration between academia, industry, startups, and the public sector while supporting the advancement of artificial intelligence technologies across Central Asia.
