The IEEE Kazakhstan Section announces the opening of candidate nominations for its Annual Election. Eligible members are invited to submit nominations for the following elected positions for the 2027–2029 term:

  • Chair — 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2029
  • Vice Chair — 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2029
  • Treasurer — 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2029
  • Secretary — 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2029

The responsibilities and duties associated with each position are defined in the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Operations Manual.

Eligibility

Nominees must have been members of the IEEE Kazakhstan Section as of 31 March 2026 and must hold one of the following IEEE membership grades: Member, Senior Member, Life Member, or Fellow.
Candidates nominated for the position of Section Chair are additionally required to have prior IEEE volunteer experience.

13 August 2026, 7:30 PM (Asia/Dhaka)

Petition deadline:
7 September 2026, 7:30 PM (Asia/Dhaka)

The opening of the petition period will be announced separately to all eligible members. Voting will be conducted electronically through IEEE vTools.

The IEEE Kazakhstan Section encourages eligible members to participate in the election process and contribute to the continued development and leadership of the Section.
