As part of the 2026 IEEE 3rd International Student Conference on Digital Generation, the Astana IT University IEEE Student Branch organized an engaging panel discussion titled “From Learning to Innovation: How Students Are Creating New Knowledge with AI.”

Bringing together PhD, MSc, and BSc students from leading universities, the panel explored how artificial intelligence is transforming education and research. The discussion emphasized that AI is much more than a tool for completing assignments: it can help students investigate new ideas, solve complex problems, generate knowledge, and develop innovative solutions.

The panelists also shared their experiences, perspectives, and ideas on how students can use AI responsibly and effectively in their academic and research activities.
