On October 22–23, 2026, Nazarbayev University welcomed researchers, industry experts, and students from 28 countries to the International Conference on Secure and Intelligent Digital Ecosystems (SIDe’26).

The conference received 343 research submissions and provided an international platform for presenting and discussing recent advances in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and secure digital technologies.

Organized by the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Nazarbayev University, the conference was technically sponsored by the IEEE Kazakhstan Section.

The positive feedback received following the event reflects the conference’s high organizational standards, strong research program, and relevance to the rapidly evolving fields of secure and intelligent digital ecosystems.

During the opening ceremony, Dr. Beibut Amirgaliyev—Professor at Astana IT University, IEEE Kazakhstan Section Executive Committee member, and Vice Chair of the IEEE Kazakhstan Section CIS/RA Joint Chapter—welcomed participants on behalf of the Section. He presented an overview of the Section’s current activities and future plans and wished all participants a productive and successful conference.
